Our lab consists of a 600 square foot module in the ten-year old Life Sciences Building. Within this module are cubicles for up to six students.
Microbiological equipment present in the lab includes several test-tube rotators, a laminar flow hood, a Bioscreen C Microbiological workstation, and a tetrad-dissection microscope. General lab equipment includes various freezers (-80º, -20ºC) and incubators (4º and 30ºC), a Biomate 3 and a DTX880 spectrophotometer, two PCR machines, a dissection scope, and a compound scope. The lab also has access to an on-campus sequencing facility (link), and a flow cytometry facility (link).
